The 2009 Highland Diabetes Symposium took place in January at the Centre for Health Science in Inverness, and was attended by around 120 healthcare professionals from all over NHS Highland, as well as some from NHS Grampian and Western Isles, who attended sessions on screening, complications, research, patient centred learning and new therapies.
